Bauman and Barnes Battle to NOW600 Cactus Region Victory at Adobe Mountain Speedway!

GLENDALE, Ariz. (April 27, 2024) - Casey Bauman and Jaydon Barnes battled their way to victory on Saturday night with the NOW600 Cactus Region at Adobe Mountain Speedway.

A field of 41 entries in the two NOW600 sanctioned divisions seen 30 drivers sign in for Non-Wing Outlaw competition and 11 in Restricted.

Casey Bauman from the pole went on to pick up the 20-lap feature event win in NOW600 Non-Wing Outlaw. Mattix Salmon finished in the runner up spot with Preston Norbury finishing third. Drake Edwards finished in fourth with Elijah Gile making up the top five.

Chris Rahe, Cody Corey, Mattix Salmon, and Drake Edwards each won heat races while Ethan Stevens was victorious in the B-Main.

Jaydon Barnes rolled to victory in NOW600 Restricted action. Clayton Wilson finished in the runner up spot with Jennifer Owens rounding out the podium. James Ferrin finished in the fourth spot with Kaleb Clark advancing four spots to cross in fifth.

Jennifer Owens and Clayton Wilson each won heat races.

The Cactus Region of the National Open Wheel 600 Series returns to action on May 24-25 for the Salute to Indy.
